STURBRIDGE — To celebrate National Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week, Rehabilitative Resources, Inc. is honoring its always-committed employees.

Sarah Hunt, a program staff supervisor for RRI, is one of those professionals. Now in her sixth year as an RRI employee, Hunt enjoys working with people with disabilities and helping them to participate in activities and programs that wouldn't be offered to them without RRI. Most recently, she oversaw the flawless relocation of individuals into their new home at 189 Paxton Street in Leicester.

"Just because people have disabilities doesn't mean they can't do certain things," said Hunt, who resides in East Brookfield. "They know we care about them and they can always go to us if they need something. That's one of the most rewarding parts of the job for me."
